We offer professional dog training services in Northern California for dog obedience (on and off-leash), problem solving training, protection training, crate training, puppy pre-school training, service dog training, and therapy dog training. Our most popular training option is Board and Train: your dog stays with us and receives daily training sessions. We also offer individual dog training where you and your dog receive a private session with a professional dog trainer. We have group obedience classes where you can train with a group and your dog can socialize with other dogs.

BOARD AND TRAIN
Send your dog to Nadelhaus for 1-4 weeks for professional training. Your dog will stay overnight in the Nadelhaus kennels and receive daily training sessions from a professional dog trainer.
Obedience Training: On Leash
Board and Train – $1,000 per week
2-4 weeks depending on training level.
This training is best for puppies between the ages of 3-6 months.
At the end of this course, your puppy will know the heel, sit, down, stay, and come commands.
We train commands in English or in German.
You supply your own food.
Obedience Training: Off Leash
Board and Train – $1,000 per week
2-4 weeks depending on training level.
This training is best for dogs ages 8 months and older.
The goal of this training is to create the foundation for your dog so that you can continue further off-leash training at home.
We recommend continuous training after your dog leaves this course. The more training that you put into the first year of your dog’s life, the more successful your dog will be for the rest of its life.
We train commands in English or in German.
You supply your own food.
Protection Training
Board and Train – $1,000 per week
2-4 weeks depending on training level.
This training is best for dogs ages 12 months and older.
You supply your own food.

Individual Obedience Classes
We offer individual training and obedience classes. Learn how to train your dog in basic obedience and receive the skills you need to continue training your dog at home.
Individual Dog Training
$100 per session
This is a private session for one hour.
Work with a professional trainer for basic obedience commands: heel, sit, down, stay, and come.
These sessions can also help work on behavior problem solving issues as well as on and off leash training.
In-Home Dog Training
$150 per session
Similar to individual dog training, except a professional trainer will come to your home.
This is a private session for one hour.

PUPPY TRAINING
We offer crate training for puppies. Let Nadelhaus train your puppy to be acclimated to a crate.
Crate Training For Puppies
Board and Train - $300 per week
1-3 weeks
This training is offered for puppies 8 weeks+.
After this training, your puppy will be acclimated to staying in a crate for a period of time.
This is perfect for dogs that will be traveling or sleeping in a crate.
You supply your own food.
We supply our own dog crates.
DOG TRANSPORTATION NOW AVAILABLE
Nadelhaus now offers dog transportation between your California location and our Nadelhaus kennels. Our trained driver can transport your German Shepherd to our kennels for training, boarding or puppy purchases. Trust that your German Shepherd will be transported with care: our driver is knowledgeable about the breed, trained in dog handling and transport, and our transporting service is bonded and insured.
This service is exclusive to Nadelhaus purchased German Shepherds. We do not transport dogs that were not purchased or imported through Nadelhaus.
Dog TRANSPORTATION COSTS
Transportation costs are based on mileage for round trips between your location and Nadelhaus.
Pricing below are estimates only. Our transportation services are generally limited to Northern California, but we encourage you to contact us with any inquiries for your location or for a price quote.
